STORM CHASING TOURS
TRADD'S current mission started 25 years ago. Quite simply, to learn how to
give people in the path of a tornado as much warning as possible. Throughout
the years, TRADD has saved countless lives by giving first hand reports of
forming tornadoes and their eventual path towards people, property, and
livestock. Working with local and state emergency management teams, our
continuing mission is to save lives while learning the mysteries of mother
nature's most violent form of weather, the tornado. Your participation as a
paying customer allows us to continue to save lives each year in tornado alley.
TRADD was founded by the Buck family out of Abilene, TX. TRADD stands for
(T)ornado (R)esearch (A)nd (D)efense (D)evelopment. Back in 1995, TRADD
started offering storm chasing tours to the general public in order to help
teach tornado and severe storm safety and to show the power of a tornado up
close and personal. Each year since, TRADD has been the leader in the
industry by offering comfortable, affordable, and convenient storm chase
tours in tornado alley.
